About Dr. Paley

Dror Paley, MD, FRCSC, of Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute at St. Mary’s Medical Center, serving West Palm Beach, Florida, and the South Florida region, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience. 

Dr. Paley earned his medical degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine in Toronto, Canada, in 1979. He completed his internship at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore the following year and his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Toronto Hospitals in Toronto, Canada, in 1985. 

In 1987, Dr. Paley moved back to Baltimore and took a position with the University of Maryland School of Medicine as a Department of Orthopaedics professor and chief of pediatric orthopedics. He held this position until 2001 when he founded the Rubin Institute of Advanced Orthopaedics, also in Baltimore. From 2001 to 2009, Dr. Paley also served as director for the International Center for Limb Lengthening (ICLL) at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.

Dr. Paley founded the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, in 2009. Since then, he’s been providing expert treatments to the South Florida area, such as limb deformity strengthening, lengthening, and correction, as well as joint preservation, cartilage repair, and arthroscopy for hip pain. He even offers advanced pediatric orthopedic treatments. 

Dr. Paley is affiliated with St. Mary’s Medical Center and Good Samaritan Medical Center, both in West Palm Beach, Florida. His ability to speak both Spanish and English allows him to communicate effectively cross-culturally with patients.

When Dr. Paley isn’t in the operating room or working with patients on their musculoskeletal issues, he’s enjoying time with his three children. He can also frequently be found on a bicycle, rock climbing, or skiing down the slopes.
