Case 41: Multiple Hereditary Exostoses
Adult male with Multiple Hereditary Exostoses. He has osteochondromas affecting his bilateral hips, bilateral knees, and bilateral upper extremities. We performed excision of osteochondromas and deformity correction of bilateral hips with safe surgical dislocation; correction of bilateral knee valugus deformity with upper tibial osteotomies and internal fixation; and correction of upper extremity deformities with derotation osteotomy, closing wedge osteotomy, and lengthening of the right ulna.
